Beyond Electric is a Slovenian engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the development and production of high-performance axial flux permanent magnet electric motors.

Our focus is on delivering compact, lightweight and power-dense motor solutions for applications where conventional electric motors reach their limits. Beyond Electric motors are developed for demanding industries including aerospace, marine, high-performance automotive, defence, industrial and other advanced electric propulsion applications.

At the core of our technology is an axial flux motor architecture designed to achieve a high power-to-weight and torque-to-weight ratio while maintaining efficiency, thermal performance and mechanical robustness. Our motors are available across a broad range of power levels and can be adapted to specific customer requirements.

Beyond Electric combines motor development, simulation, prototyping, testing and production capabilities within a highly integrated engineering process. Our development capabilities include advanced 3D electromagnetic simulations, thermal simulations and in-house geometry optimization process. Designs are validated through extensive testing on our own motor test bench under different operating, cooling and environmental conditions.

In addition to our standard motor portfolio, we work closely with customers on custom motor development. This allows us to optimize electromagnetic design, mechanical configuration, cooling, voltage, speed and torque characteristics around the requirements of a specific application rather than forcing the application to adapt to an existing motor.

A major focus of our engineering philosophy is the combination of high performance and durability. Achieving impressive peak figures is only one part of electric motor development. For real-world applications, continuous performance, thermal stability, mechanical integrity and reliability are equally important. These principles are incorporated into the design and validation of every Beyond Electric motor.
