Hoenle Adhesives GmbH

Hoenle Adhesives GmbH is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of UV, structural and conductive adhesives, together with coatings and potting materials, for industrial bonding and potting applications. Based in Steinbach/Taunus, Germany, and formerly known as Panacol-Elosol, it is the adhesives specialist within the Hoenle Group, whose parent company Hoenle AG supplies the matching UV and LED curing equipment. Its adhesives are used across electronics, automotive, medical technology, optics and photovoltaics, built on the position that there is no universal adhesive and that materials, component geometries and process conditions each call for an individually matched system.

A broad adhesive range with flexible curing options

The portfolio covers 1- and 2-part epoxies, acrylates, cyanoacrylates and methacrylates, which can be cured by UV or visible light, heat or moisture. Electrically and thermally conductive adhesives for electronics sit alongside coatings and potting materials.

Adhesives for battery cell contacting

Hoenle UV adhesives are applied in battery cell contact systems, where individual cells are combined into modules, interconnected via cell connectors and assembled into a complete storage system. In these assemblies, the adhesive covers the welding points to protect against vibration and corrosion.

UV adhesives for medical device manufacturing

Hoenle Adhesives has introduced UV adhesives for medical device manufacturing that are REACH compliant, certified TPO/CMR-free and tested to the ISO 10993 biocompatibility protocols. They suit bonding cannulas, breathing masks, catheters, reservoirs, heat exchangers, blood collection sets and diagnostic devices, and IBOA-free formulations are available for medical wearables. In laboratory testing, Vitralit E-7041 T for needle bonding reached 100% higher bond strength on PP to stainless steel than the original Vitralit 7041 T.
